How Miatta Tales v0.6 handles reading activity and on-device preferences.

Short version: This static site does not ask children to register, submit their names, or make purchases. Favorites and reading progress are saved locally in the browser.

Information stored on your device

Favorites, saved reading pages, completion counts, and stars use browser localStorage. That data is stored in the browser used to visit Miatta Tales. It is not sent to a Miatta Tales account or application database by this site's code.

Read-aloud and external sites

Read-aloud uses your device's browser speech capabilities. Available voices and processing depend on your operating system/browser. External library links take visitors to third-party websites with separate privacy practices.

Hosting and technical logs

Miatta Tales is served through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information in providing hosting and security. This statement does not claim that hosting operates without server logs.

Advertising, payments and analytics

This version includes no advertising scripts, analytics trackers, child registration, purchases, payment processor, or email collection form in the supplied website files.

How to control information

Use Clear Reading Progress in My Reading Journey, remove favorites using heart buttons, or clear this site's browser data. Device-local progress cannot automatically follow you to another browser.
